I cant even operate the book. delete. wasted time, effort, excitement.

Like many people, my child & I love the original book. Pros of app: nice graphics- true to the classic, fun interactive items within the story, great narration & love the music. Cons: images way too small- difficult to read/see & magnifying glass too clunky to use, user interface could be simplified- far from being intuitive.

This is my 16month old favorite book! Since getting it on my phone I cant get my phone back! Lol Very good app.

Why waste so much space on borders and make the book so small? Almost illegible on the iPhone. The controls are inscrutable, and auto play reads too fast. Please fix this! Love the book and the art, but I dont like the app.

We read a lot of kids books on the iPad. While the platforms used by the Dr Seus and Lil Critter books is exceptional, this app falls short in several areas: - the book content only fills a fraction of the screen. Around 40% of the screen space is wasted. - page turning is really finicky. If you dont hit the edge when you swipe they will not turn the page. - there is no "read it myself option" - annoying music plays and there is no way to turn it off - the hidden mouse from Lil critter etc is copied but instead of a hidden picture game you need to poke everything on the screen, watching and hearing the annoying/distracting animations until the mouse pops out. - the animations detract from the reading experience turning this beloved classic into something akin to whack a mole as the young reader pounds on the screen trying to activate animations - once the book starts there is no way to return to the title screen without finishing the book.

Very well executed app! I downloaded it for my daughter, but spent the first hour using it myself, it took me awhile to find all the dream catcher items. All they need to add is a way to reset the "stickers" so you can re-play it with new children...and so I dont feel so bad that I already unlocked everything.

My 2 year old LOVES it. I was never a huge fan of the story & this app helps me adore it!

Stumbled onto this and found it enchanting. No kids involved, just a baby-boomer who appreciates a good giggle.

I loved reading this book to my daughter when she was a baby and we loved searching for the little mouse. Shes 8 now and even though she may think shes outgrown this book, when she finds out its interactive and she can now read it for herself, I think shell love it again. We now have a grand daughter and Im sure shell love having it read to her by me and my daughter. It is really a cute book.

Love the app, however its very difficult and annoying at the same time when you always have to hit the drop down ribbon to change pages. Would be nice to flip pages by swiping the screen.

My 15 month old grandson loves the original book. It frustrates him because it is too hard for him to find the mouse. It is there somewhere if you find the right spot to touch to make it visible, but it is not even easy for an adult to activate the mouse on some of the pages. There should be a setting to leave the mouse visible for the young (under 19 months) reader.

Love this app! The colors are vibrant and the voice is very soothing ... Perfect for bedtime!

I would give it five stars if you could read the book in full screen mode. It only fills up about half the screen, so at times its hard to enjoy all the animation.
