Great app. My son loves it.

Just as good as the original book. However the experience our past the past is not there. Still good and maybe the next gen will be as enduring

Good sound effects and illustrations.

Im having as much fun with this as the grandbaby. A must- have for kids of all ages who love this book.

Goodnight Moon is a wonderful story brought to life via the iPad. I do wish it were a little bigger, so the interactive parts were not so participatory (or at all present in the read to me portion)...as after the story you want your little one to be calm and sleepy...and not charged up after going at the page with a magnifying glass trying to find items. I would love to be able to divide the app into..reading the story, playing a game, or just listening to the beautiful music that is accompanied to the book. I would definitely recommend this app.

I loved this when my son was a baby (hes 9 now), and wondered if the magic of the mouse hunt and the rising moon would be the same in the book app... And it was even more than I expected! The mouse is hidden causing the readers to explore the page to find him. The interactivity is charming and magical! The narrators voice is soothing and melodic. Read this with my granddaughter and she was enchanted! Me too!

I have a toddler and an infant, both enjoy this app very much. We have the book which is a favorite And now having it on the phone for when were on the go, and on the iPad when were home Is so ideal.Its a great activity and a great distraction from a toddler meltdown:)

Goodnight moon is a good book because it tells you how to sleep. I am 5 years old

And I do too. Its a classic story with great little animations for the different parts of the book that you can interact with. I cannot get enough of these pop out books.

The pages are very small and not friendly for the age of child this book is appropriate for. Its difficult to navigate back to the beginning to listen to it over again. Its already a $5 app, its very annoying to have ads for other books right on the main screen and again at the end. Overall, we love the story and my daughter got frustrated with this and went and got her actual copy of the book. So disappointing

Darling additions to a classic story. Fun for old kids to share with new kids.

My first child will be born in 3 months..this will be a wonderful, interactive bedtime experience for us to read together. Thank you so much for the obvious care and cleverness you imbued this book with. You added so much, and subtracted nothing!

I should have read the reviews before downloading; its a downgrade from the original, and Im now deleting something I just paid for. Why? 1) Because its a very poor use of screen real estate - the pages (literally) require a magnifying lens to see. 2) The touch screen navigation is poorly set up. Great idea, poor execution. Stick with the original book.

This is a cherished book in our household. It doesnt require gamification. Its not a game; its a bedtime book. The last thing I want to do with my sleepy toddler is engage him in a thrilling game of "Find the mouse that is inexplicably missing from the page by tapping every item!" And while I do appreciate the clever obfuscation of the in-app purchases, it is still tacky to have those ads right there when you open the app.

This is only slightly better then the real book Its clearly a old tech crammed into a new tech world and has the feel of bricks and mortar in a glass polish world, this is truly a disappoint when compared to the Peter Rabbit books, from the same company using the same tech. There are just too many things wrong, its way too small, your child can get tossed to the apple store for another product, my child likes that i read this book in the binder form. Its that bad, i have since used another $5 book creator app just So my child will read the book, had to do the same for the going to bed book as well. Not worth buying this version..

Waste of money!

I love this book for two reasons: 1) My children love it. 2) My children learn from it. It has just the right mix of simple animations and hidden surprises. The in-app purchases are easy to ignore (they dont appear while reading the book). They also require a simple puzzle to activate, so kids cant accidentally buy something. I love Goodnight Moon. Always have. This app makes an extraordinary book even better.

Of course its an app,and sometimes theres nothing that can take the place of the old fashioned book, but I suggest getting a magnifying glass and the paper back and having both just for the sake of repeating what our grandmothers did with us.

as my little Kaylee says, this app is Awesoooome! This is so cute and has hidden things to find. I really dont understand the bad reviews for this app. Maybe we love this so much because we started with the book.
